SHITZERS.

SEPTEMBER 8. ZERO 7. YEAH x 1000.

September is going to be awesome, I just know it. I can’t wait to see the direction dear ol’ Henry and Sam has brought Zero 7 towards.  I’m currently listening to the first song that they’ve released from the new album. It’s a slightly more staccato-esque electronica, but its still retains the fluidity and gel-ness of electronica circa Simple Things.  Somehow. I haven’t made up my mind as to whether I like this direction or not, because my favourite tunes are still from the Most Awesome When It Falls album.

I’m terribly, terribly excited, though. When I read the news on my trusty Google Reader, I had a deafening moment of shock that led to stillness that was tempted to express itself in loud whoops of joy.  But of course I managed to compose myself sufficiently to compose this entry.

Meanwhile, I’m looking forward to the day when record stores here finally see the light and stock Grizzly Bear’s Veckatimest.
