The Libertine Is Locked In Jail.

May 27, 2009

Okay, so I wanted to type this really reflective post, BUT. I just sampled some tracks off Patrick Wolf’s latest album, The Bachelor, and I am simply AWED. Like, Fo’Shiz.

SHIT ITS DAMN GOOD CAN.

You genius, you.

KEEP IN MIND FRANKENSTEIN!

May 18, 2009

Grand Archives will release their above-titled album this September. It’s one heck of an album title I must say.

Anyways, I’ve been ingesting a really ridiculous amount of Clorets lately. Ocean mint flavour, of course. Some people stuff themselves silly with cookies for comfort, but I choose clorets. Delicious things! Wondering if I should take serious note of the “excessive use can have laxative effect” print at the back of the cloret box. Hmm.

In other random news, I have finally seen the light about Google Reader. It’s Real Good Stuff.

The Ice Was Getting Thinner.

May 12, 2009

Haven’t heard something this utterly light and beautiful in a long, long while. I would highly recommend taking a listen if you, dear reader, happen to happily chance upon this simple but supersonic audiogem.

No longer, no longer
What you ask
Strange steps
Heels turn black
The cinders, the cinders
They light the path
And these strange steps
Take us back, take us back

Flow sweetly, hang heavy
You suddenly complete me
You suddenly complete me

No wonder, no wonder
Other half
Strange steps
Heels turn black
The cinders, they splinter
And light the path
And these strange steps
Trace us back, trace us back

Flow sweetly, hang heavy
You suddenly complete me
You suddenly complete me

Hysteric, hysterical

Yeah Yeah YeahsHysteric, from their latest album. It’s brilliant. You know a song is definitely worth looping if it manages to keep you pondering if you should laugh or cry in response.

9 Crimes.

No, that is not alright. Infinite expectations, nil solution. Don’t want I don’t want I don’t want! Okthxbye.
